DCS: F-16 by Eagle Dynamics in the works

Although the F-16 Fighting Falcon has been in service since the late 1970s, it still flies in over 25 countries worldwide. This makes the model the most widely used jet fighter in the world. Now Eagle Dynamics has announced on its website a replica of the F-16C Block 50 version for DCS World. Currently the announcement only outlines the already quite concrete plans of the designers, but there are no thumbnails.

According to the developers, they are replicating the F-16 on the state of the Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP). This brought different versions of the fighter plane to a common technical state. The modernization program included new computers, color screens, a new data link (Link 16), and the ability to carry a sniper XR targeting pod. Consequently, the developers are working on a model variant of the F-16, which was used by the United States Air Force and Air National Guard in 2007.
