With NK Design Elstree Aerodrome a new freeware scenery for X-Plane 11 has been released. The airfield is available for free download on X-Plane.org. According to the designer studio, the development took five months. Already in January Orbx released the Elstree Aerodrome as Payware. Now the Australian publisher gets a little competition.
NK Design’s freeware scenery is intended to be a complete replica of the real model and to do without any third-party libraries. In addition, the developer promises numerous individually placed objects and adapted vegetation. In addition, compatibility with TrueEarth Great Britain South is guaranteed. Even though the add-on scenery is available free of charge, NK Design is happy to receive donations. The developer studio would like to use this for future projects.
