Virtual Reality: FlyInside Flight Simulator released
Until now FlyInside was only known for its Virtual Reality plugin, which can be used together with FSX, Prepar3D or X-Plane. But now the software company has released its own Flight Simulator: The FlyInside Flight Simulator (FFS). Currently the project is still in the beta phase, but the early access version of the simulator is already available for 32 US dollars in the developers’ shop. There is also a free trial version, which can be downloaded here.
The FlyInside Flight Simulator is supposed to have been developed especially for virtual reality and offers according to the description ten different aircraft, the models come from Milviz and TFDi Design. The graphics engine is based on brand-new technology for current computer systems, according to the product page. Only the United States will be covered, but in the future Europe and the whole world will follow. In addition, more aircraft, a better scenery presentation, an offline ATC as well as more realistic avionics and much more are planned. Will that be enough to knock Aerofly FS 2 off the throne? It is not without reason that the IPACS simulator is regarded as the ultimate in virtual reality.
